An ardent love for the art of Homoeopathy and a passionate affection for our Science apart from being an original thinker are the few hallmarks of this gentleman who has been associated with our system for close to five decades. He was the Principal of J.S.P.S. Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College before retiring as the Addl. Director, Indian Systems of Medicine & Homoeopathy. Dr. K. Siva Shankar continues to serve the cause of Homoeopathy and has been the President of The Andhra Pradesh Homoeopathic Association which seeks the welfare of our system of Medicine and now is with us as the Honorary Advisor.

He is the inveterate soldier of Homoeopathy and has been at the forefront when renaissance was the need of the hour. Whether it was proclaiming unequivocally the message of utility of our Medicine to the lay people or administrators; to say the least he has been effective. A man ahead of his times he was one of the first to have started a specialty clinic for treatment of “Allergy” more than a couple of decades ago. He was instrumental for all the good times to happen in the last five years at our Association like the establishment of Specialty clinics, building of the Conference Hall at our premises and the proactive attitude towards issues pertaining to our Medicine that call for action imminently.

The ageing icon has the timeless quality in motivating a youngster into action and will be remembered for turnaround of HMAT even as he would be respected for being a thinker, practitioner and administrator of Homoeopathy.
