Dr. Sampath Rao completed his DHMS in 1979, M.B.S (H), MD (H).

He joined as lecturer in Hyderabad Karnataka Educational Society [H.K.E.S] later became Principal of the society. At present he is the Academic Director of HKES.

• He was an elected member from Karnataka of CCH
• He was the Dean of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
• Recipient of Hahnemannian Gold Medal, by Dept. of AYUSH Govt. of Karnataka, for the year 2002.
• Recipient of Best Teacher Award, by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, Bangalore, for the year 2010.
• Homoeo Acharya 2015 Karnataka Qualified Homoeopathic Doctors Association.
